• As a beginner, you might want a little bit, but you really don't need water for a Bikram Yoga class!  
  • Make sure you hydrate before class, this will help a great deal.
  • If you focus on stillness and your breath for the whole 90 minutes, you won't need anything else, it's just a distraction.
  • Depending on which study you read, the body can absorb from 4 to 10 ounces of water every 60 minutes.  The rest stays in your stomach and can make you quite uncomfortable if you are stretching, bending, and twisting it.
