My love of yoga began in the summer of 2000 when I took my first class at a local gym in my hometown of Rochester, NY. I was immediately drawn to the practice of connecting the body and mind through the breath. After a year of regular practice I became certified to teach. In March of 2011 I took my first Bikram class here in Pittsburgh; I remember the energy and openness that I felt afterward and I returned day after day. I trained to teach in the spring of 2015 with lots of support from my awesome yogi husband and four boys. I am grateful to be able to practice and teach this yoga and love being a part of the BY Pittsburgh community.
